MARCUS BEACH RENOVATION

A clean, simple house renovation of a standard ‘off-the-shelf’ 1980’s 3 bedroom home. The clients are a couple who are both minimalist architecture fans and also not a fan of cleaning. The floors are existing concrete slabs which are to be semi-polished. The cabinetry is standard melamine units but door and drawer fronts are simple marine ply wood with a rose wood veneer and the the bench tops are scratch resistant self healing 16mm FENIX in matt black. The dining booth was borrowed from a favourite local restaurant- it is both a place to dine and also a snuggery for reading books and relaxing.
